Tonight was the season premier of season 9 of American Idol. I used to love American Idol when it first came out, but I have not been into it like i used to be. I do not see the point in allowing people to publicly humiliate themselves, but I guess it sells. I am writing tonight though because I was actually impressed with some of the singers that auditioned. They had wonderful voices and I could tell where there hearts were. I also liked that the majority of the talented singers were only sixteen. To be so talented and mature like these teens were is a wonderful thing. It actually shows me that there is hope in this world for the future, unlike what Idol used to show me with characters such as William Hung. I am also very happy that Ellen is going to be on the show this year. She is a wonderful person and will bring so many laughs and joy to the show.
I blogged about American Idol too...hahah. The funny thing is, is that I blogged before the show and blogged about the people. Any way, yes I thought it was interesting that that the majority of the talent last night were very young indeed a lot of males too which I found fantastic. Always great to see a passionate male artist! :)
